Taking our CPU and GPU choices into account, the logical choice for this build was an A520M chipset motherboard.

In the case that 16Gb isn’t enough for you, the motherboard we chose has four RAM slots, allowing for easy upgrades to increase performance in productivity applications like Photoshop, Sony Vegas, Blender and future preps for next generation games that will have heavier RAM demands.

In order to maximize performance, the majority of our budget for this build was allocated to gaming-critical components while setting aside just enough for ample SSD storage.

With 12GB of GDDR6 memory, Nvidia’s RTX 3060 can run any game at max settings on a 1440p resolution monitor with ease. Better yet, the 3060 is capable of running almost all games at high settings in 4K while maintaining above 60 frames per second.

Our high end video card has a 170W power draw and our processor pulls about 65W on average.
